Who we are
Pixel Souls is operated and published by Pixel Souls. For Terms questions, account or purchase issues contact [email protected].
License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play Pixel Souls on a compatible Android device for your own non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Pixel Souls.
You may not modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, redistribute, sell, sublicense, lease or commercially exploit the game, its source code, its assets or any part of it, except where mandatory law allows it.
Eligibility and account
Pixel Souls is intended for users who can lawfully agree to these Terms in their region. If you are below the age of digital consent in your country, you may need a parent or guardian to agree on your behalf.
A game account is generated locally on the device. You are responsible for the activity that happens on your account, including in-game purchases and submitted community content.
In-app purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. By making a purchase, you also agree to the Google Play Terms of Service. Pixel Souls receives the purchase result only to validate the transaction and unlock the purchased content.
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play according to its refund policy. We can only support refund disputes that go through Google Play.
Virtual currency, items, equipment, materials and any other in-game content have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred outside the game, and may be balanced, removed or reset for game-design or anti-abuse reasons.
Acceptable use
- No cheating, exploiting, automation, modification or interference with the game or the backend.
- No attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or attack the API, servers or other players.
- No use of Pixel Souls to harass, threaten, defame, impersonate or harm other players.
- No use of Pixel Souls for unlawful, fraudulent or commercial activities (e.g. selling accounts, gold farming, paid boosting).
- No uploading of content that contains real names, contact data, sexual, hateful, violent-extremist or otherwise illegal material.
Community levels and user content
When you submit a level, a nickname or any other user content, you grant Pixel Souls a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, publicly display, distribute, moderate and remove that content as needed to operate, promote and protect the community features of the game.
You confirm that you own the rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate these Terms.
We can review, hide, reject, demote, age-restrict or delete any community content at our discretion, especially when it violates these Terms, the platform store rules or applicable law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to Pixel Souls, your community features or your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the game, abuse other players, attempt fraud, or if required by Google Play, applicable law or security needs.
You can stop using Pixel Souls at any time by uninstalling the game and using the in-game delete flow described in the Privacy Policy. For full data deletion, contact [email protected].
Updates and changes to the game
Pixel Souls is a live game. We may update, change, balance, add or remove features, content, levels, items, modes or backend services. We may also discontinue parts of the service. We will try to do so in a reasonable way, but we are not obligated to keep any specific feature, item or level available forever.
Third-party services
Pixel Souls uses Google Play (purchases), Google AdMob (ads), Google User Messaging Platform (consent) and Cloudflare (website hosting and edge). Their respective terms and privacy policies apply on top of ours when you interact with those parts of the experience.
Disclaimer and liability
Pixel Souls is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that the game, the website or the backend will always be uninterrupted, error-free, free of bugs or compatible with every device.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pixel Souls is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost progress or loss of data arising from the use or inability to use the game.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Pixel Souls is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the game, backend, store requirements or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page. By continuing to use Pixel Souls after an update, you accept the new Terms.
